We are blessed to have one of the most beautiful places to ride in the world. This is one of the best places I know of that you can road bike in the morning and mountain bike in the afternoon. Just south of Tahoe, it has the beauty without the traffic. Join our club and have all the advantages of a great location with the added benefit of someone to ride with. Bear Valley is an Alpine community at the 7000' level on Highway 4. We are blessed with the type of views you expect when you are in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range without the traffic you see in Tahoe. For several years Sunset Magazine has called our area one of the best kept secrets in the West. It is an easy drive from anywhere in Sacramento or the Bay Area.
